Nissan Sentra Review & Ratings

The Nissan Sentra is a compact car manufactured by Nissan Motor Company. Nissan Motor Company is based in Yokohama, Japan. It was founded in the 1800s under a different name, but became known as Nissan in the 1930s. It is a publicly-traded multinational company that has become a part of French automaker Renault in the year 1999.

The first generation Sentra was introduced as a replacement for the Datsun 210: the car was first unveiled at the New York Auto Show. Third, fourth, and fifth generations saw a more streamlined body with added features, including a new powertrain and additional models. In 2000 the Sentra had crossed over into the compact class.

The sixth generation was introduced at the North American International Auto Show in 2006. The seventh generation Sentra was introduced in 2012 with a complete interior and exterior redesign. Available worldwide, Sentra is known to have been promoting slightly different models for New Zealand and Southeast Asia.
