The Fiat Strada is a supermini utility vehicle built by Fiat to be a world car modeled on the Palio. Fiat is the largest automaker in Italy and was founded in 1899. The company currently owns such automakers as Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Jeep, Ferrari, and Maserati.
A world car is a no-frills automobile, all built with the same platform and generally marketed to developing countries, although they are available everywhere. Some well-known world cars include the Volkswagen Beetle and the Toyota Corolla. They usually have a minimum of amenities, but are touted to be highly affordable.
The Strada is a pick-up truck that was introduced in Brazil in 1996. It has a maximum cargo space of 69.7 inches by 51.7 inches and a maximum load capacity of 1,543 pounds. The Strada had its first redesign in 2001 in which the interior and front were changed and a version was built with an extended cab.
There was another revision in 2004 and more models were introduced in certain markets. In 2009 the vehicle saw a revision of the body and newer components and the 2013 version added to it with a new front end, new rear lights, and the extended cab was given optional open rear doors, called suicide doors.
The Strada’s price runs roughly from about $15,000.00 to $22,000.00 US dollars. The price varies depending on the model variation and market.
There are nine different engines, depending on the model. They include 1.2L Fire Inline-4 (gas), 1.3L Fiassa Inline-4 (gas), 1.4L Fire Inline-4 (gas), 1.5L Fiassa Inline-4 (gas), 1.6L Flex Inline-4 (gas), 1.8L Flex Inline-4 (gas), 1.3L Multijet Inline-4 (diesel), 1.7L TD Inline-4 (diesel), and 1.9L JTD Inline-4 (diesel).
The Fiat Strada comes with a five-speed manual transmission.

The Strada can seat two to four people, depending on the model, but all passengers are comfortable with plenty of head and leg room. The truck has a large cargo space to haul whatever you have.
