Hyundai has given the extensive publicity to its new release of the i30 Fastback N. And now we are sure it’s going to be added to i30 N and Veloster N release by the end of this year.
The manufacturer has taken the fastback to tons of testing on different roads all around Europe. Surely, the main location is Nurburgring Nordschleife – the most terrifying and merciless route.
The automaker has its own technical center there. The i30 Fastback N goes under plenty of evaluations for durability and performance before it can see the world.
The sloped rooflines together with vivid rear lip add style to the car’s design. In addition, the car stands out by the bold character lines. The automaker couldn’t leave it without the signature Cascading grille. Though, the engine is going to be the same as in i30 N, meaning a standard 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine will allow the good 246 hp, while the Performance package will bring it up to 271.
It’s unlikely than i30 Fastback N will make it to the U.S. market. Nevertheless, i30 N is very similar to the Elantra GT. If Hyundai Motor America sees the demand, it can always add the model to the Elantra lineup. The good news is that we’ll get Veloster N, which is amazingly stable on twisty roads.
