Bentley has created the fastest four-seat automobile in the world

Bentley presented the new Continental Supersports car, named the fastest, the most powerful and luxurious series-production four-seat car in the world. Novelty accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and gets a maximum speed of 336 km/h.
Bentley Continental Supersports is equipped with a twin-turbo W12 engine, which is also installed on the Bentley Bentayga. The coupe and cabriolet have petrol engine with working volume of 6.0 liters and is powered with 710 HP (Bentayga – 608 HP), maximum torque reaches 1017 Nm. Engine performance is increased due to the use of new turbochargers and upgraded cooling system. Transmission – 8-speed “automatic” ZF with new torque converter.
The new Continental Supersports also is 80 HP more powerful (torque is higher at 217 Nm) than the former “Supersport” model by 2009. In addition to this novelty is lighter than any other member of the Continental GT family. In comparison with the standard model the weight of the Supersports version is reduced on 20 kg, and the optional titanium exhaust system allows to lose 5 more kg. As a result of various technical tricks, the ratio of power to weight increased on 10% and power to torque on 25%.
External differences of “Supersport” from the Continental GT are based in modified bumpers with carbon splitter and diffuser, extended door sills and new pads on ventilation holes in the hood. In addition to this, the novelty has got tinted headlights and taillights, gloss black trim on the front grilles, headlights, rear bumper, door handles and window trims.
Additionally there will be available a special design called “X Specification”. This set includes eight unique choices of double color, the housings of the exterior mirrors and pedals made from carbon fiber. The package includes a titanium exhaust system, door panels trimming with carbon fiber, engine cover is also from carbon fiber, 21-inch forged wheels have glossy black finish.
