2019 Jeep Renegade: New Photos Reveal More Details

Thanks to images of the 2019 Jeep Renegade released by the manufacturer, we can now get a better idea of what to expect. The new Renegade comes with a new grille that consists of several redesigned slots. The front fascia of the vehicle now has a more modern look. Fog lamps are all new as well as headlamps that feature full LED lights. The model’s rear has also been altered by adding taillight LED light clusters, with an interesting X pattern. The Renegade will come with 16-in., 17-in., and 18-in. wheels, and there is also the Limited trim that is equipped with 19-in. option.
As for the interior, the center console has been slightly redesigned. Now it features a new smartphone holder, changed cup holders, and a range of other improved compartments for storage. The extra USB port is now located in the center armrest’s rear. The Renegade will be equipped with the innovative 5-in., 7-in., or 8.4-in. UConnect screen.
As for the safety, the new model comes with LaneSense Lane Departure Warning-Plus system as well as ISA with Traffic-Sign Recognition technology.
For the European market, the vehicle will come with different engine options, including a 1 L 3-cylinder engine capable of producing 120 horsepower, a 1.3 L 4-cylinder (150 horsepower or 180 horsepower). There are also 2 diesel options. It is still unknown what engines will be available for the US market.
