Chevrolet keeps the public excited about the 2019 Volt. Although lots of characteristics remain the same, the manufacturer decided to improve efficiency and charging speed.
The result of hard work is a new 7.2-kW charging system. It goes as a standard option for the Volt Premier. For Volt LT, it is optional. When plugged into a 240V Level Two station, charging time is about 2.3 h. Thanks to the higher throughput, charging sessions are more productive.
Since charging times are reduced, owners can easily charge their battery several times a day, which makes it unnecessary to wait until they come back home to do this. Efficiency has also been increased, and the new model operates more smoothly and gets more energy.
There are also other changes to the 2019 model, including a new 8-in. touchscreen IVI. There is an Energy App allowing checking out how range depends on different driving styles and road conditions. There is also a digital camera for rearview, as well as a wireless phones charger. The interior colors include Pacific Blue Metallic. The Premier models can also be ordered in Jet Black as well as Porcelain Blue colors. This model will also be equipped with a driver’s power seat, which is optional on the LT trim, and standard on Premier models.
