Hyundai i800 Review & Ratings

Like the Transit, the Hyundai i800 is based on a van. It also seats eight. buying is straightforward since there’s only one version, and you won’t need to raid the options list because standard kit includes air-con, parking sensors and a heated driver’s seat. In fact, cost is this car’s major selling point; it’s cheaper than many seven-seat people-carriers and staggering value for money. At 922 litres, boot space is impressive, although you can’t fold or slide the back row of seats, so that’s as big as it gets. Still, you should be able to cram in overnight bags for eight. The interior isn’t exactly luxurious, but hard plastics and durable carpets will handle whatever the kids can chuck at them. Likewise, a good track record for reliability, and Hyundai’s five-year unlimited-mileage warranty, should give peace of mind.
