Alfa Romeo Giulietta Review & Ratings

The Alfa Romeo Giulietta has come in a few different forms, including the 750/101 and the 940. The Giulietta 940 is classified as a small family car that is manufactured by Italian carmaker Alfa Romeo. Production of this vehicle started in late 2009 and it was eventually introduced in March of 2010 at the Geneva Motor Show. The 2010 Giulietta is available as only a 5-door hatchback and the advertising campaign used for it involved Uma Thurman, a popular Hollywood actress. These adverts feature the car’s mottos and logo.
The platform that was used for the Alfa Romeo Giulietta is Fiat’s Group’s Compact or the “C-Evo”. This platform was brand new at the time and the Fiat Group spent a total of 100 million euros to completely re-engineer the C-platofrm which was also used for the Fiat Stilo, the Lancia Delta, and the Fiat Bravo. This vehicle has a longer wheelbase but shorter overhangs as well as a sophisticated new type of MacPherson strut front suspension along with multi-link rear suspension. There are 16, 17, and 18” wheels offered for each respective model.
There were a number of changes made to the 2014 model Guilietta and it was displayed to the public for the first time at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2013. This car came with a new Uconnect infotainment system with a 5” or 6.5” Radionav touchscreen as well as new wheels (available in 16, 17, and 18”), chome-plated frame on the fog lights, a new front grille, a more supportive seat design, and a variety of new exterior colors, including Blue, Bronze, Moonlight Pearl, and Anodizzato. There was also a new diesel engine variant of this vehicle and a 150 PS 380 N m 2.0 JTDM 2 engine.
The top range Giulietta model uses a 1.75 liter turbocharged TBi engine that is rated for 235 PS and a lowered ride height of 15mm at the front and 10 mm at the rear. This vehicle also features 18” spoke-design alloy wheels with dark titanium finish and an enhanced braking system. The interior of the top range Giulietta includes leather and microfiber seats with sports leather seats being optional, and a dark brushed aluminum dashboard. The UK version of this vehicle was marketed as the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Cloverleaf and it is one of the sportier models with a variety of features.
The new range of engines for this vehicle consists of a 1.4 liter T-Jet petrol engine as well as an M-Jet diesel, both of which are turbocharged. These vehicles use a 6-speed manual transmission as well as Dual Dry Clutch Transmission TCT or Twin Clutch Transmission, which was first seen at the Paris International Motor Show in Paris in 2010. The compact 6-speed gearbox works with a 1.4 MultiAir petrol engine and a 2.0 Multijet diesel. The Alfa Romeo Giulietta uses a new Multiair system that controls the amount of air that goes into the engine by regulating when air is allowed to flow in as well as how much the inlet valve opens.
When it comes to matters of safety, the Giulietta was designed to score a 5-star EuroNCAP safety rating and comes with a number of electronic safety equipment, including VDC or Vehicle Dynamic Control, as well as electronic stability control, Dynamic Steering, and a Q2 electronic differential. This vehicle earned 35 points or 97% for adult occupants, 42 points or 85% for child occupants, 23 points or 63% for pedestrians, and 6 points or 86% for safety assist. Overall, this vehicle is definitely one of Alfa Romeo’s most popular models as well as a sporty and safe choice for consumers.
